  8. Society Must be Defended by Michel Foucault
  9. Strong Democracy by Benjamin Barber
  10. Madness and Civilization: A History of Insanity in the Age of Reason by Michel Foucault

Books 1 through 4 on this list have radically affected the way I live and think. Books 1 and 2 have permanently altered the structure of my DNA.
